How do I get to ExCeL London?
ExCeL London is served by two DLR stations. The westerly Custom House for ExCeL is the most convenient for Guidelines Live. Typical travel times from mainline railway stations to ExCeL via the TfL network are:
25-30 mins – London Bridge
30-35 mins – Charing Cross, Liverpool Street, Moorgate, Waterloo
35-40 mins – Euston, Kings Cross, Marylebone, St Pancras International, Victoria
40-45 mins – Paddington

We would strongly recommend you book accommodation before arriving in London.
What are the educational bursaries?
We have a limited number of educational bursaries available for UK registered healthcare professionals working within the NHS, these reduce the ticket price by £360 (includes VAT), so that delegates are only required to pay the registration fee of £48 (includes VAT).
What does the registration fee include?
The Guidelines Live team has arranged for a number of resources to be available to all delegates including:
- Digital versions of Guidelines in Practice
- Guidelines: a special Guidelines Live supplement including new summaries and those most relevant to the sessions covered during the event
- Digital resources from the clinical sessions.
How do I receive my badge?
On booking, a confirmation email will be sent to you containing your PDF ticket/badge. You MUST PRINT AND BRING THIS WITH YOU to the show. Due to COVID-19 regulations, separate printed badges will not be issued at the event. If you lose your email or reference number, please go to the help desk at the show when you arrive.
Is there disability access to the venue?
Ramps and lifts are available across the venue.
The disabled toilets are located at the following points:
- Red blocks S9/S10
- N10/N11 level 0
- N4/S4, at the back of the North Halls
- South Gallery level 2 and the dock edge on Level 0
- Platinum Suite - levels 2 and 3
- Prince Regent walkway
- Level 0 East
- Capital Suite level 2 and 3

Is there anywhere that I can park?
All onsite parking is pay and display, and costs £20 for up to 24 hours. ExCeL London is well served by public transport. Further information can be found here.
Is there a cloakroom facility?
Given the current COVID-19 situation we are unsure if there will be a cloakroom at this year’s event. We will release more information when we have it.
However, in normal circumstances, there is a cloakroom available at ExCeL London, it is located in the west end of the venue on level 0 by N4/S4 and one in the east end on level 0. Cloakrooms are open during show hours only.
The fee is £1 per item for coats and luggage. Please be aware the cloakroom cannot store cameras, laptops or any other electronic devices.
How will COVID-19 effect Guidelines Live 2021?
Attendee safety is our overriding focus and as you would expect, our team closely follow the latest guidance from relevant bodies on all COVID-19 safety measures and precautions related to hosting an indoor, in-person event. For more information, click here.

Something has come up and I need to cancel. How do I go about this?
Book to attend Guidelines Live with confidence.
We understand that circumstances change: if you are unable to attend, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you cancel your booking before Friday 29 October 2021 you will receive a full refund and Guidelines Live will reallocate your place. After this date any fees paid are non-refundable although you are welcome to transfer your booking to a colleague at no additional charge. Please email us at email@example.com to request a transfer.
In the unlikely scenario that the event is postponed due to force majeure or government COVID regulations, we will automatically transfer your ticket to a re-scheduled event or make a full refund on request.
How do I receive my CPD certificate for attending Guidelines Live?
At the end of the conference all delegates will receive an email with instructions of how to access their personalised CPD certificate confirming attendance at Guidelines Live 2021.
